Set at the entrance, this cake had the perfect position in the stunning marquee in the gardens of G & F’s home for their summer wedding.
I most often make different flavours for each tier, but if you want to make sure that every guest gets a slice of your favourite flavour then it’s certainly the way to go!
Four tiers of lemon sponge soaked with lemon syrup to super enhance that zingy lemony flavour, layered with lashings of lemon curd and Italian meringue buttercream.
A textured finish to the buttercream coating with vertical ribbed detail. Decorated with lots of lovely fruit and fresh dahlias.
