A trained graphic designer and artist, I moved from my job as a corporate design manager in London to Cornwall in 2001.
Wanting to pursue a new, more hands-on career combining all things art and edible, I trained in advanced patisserie and established my wedding cake and chocolate business in 2003.
As the business grew, I started to discover new flavour combinations and the versatility of chocolate, training with world reknowned chefs including Meilleur Ouvrier de France chocolatiers as well as learning many of my own lessons and skills along the way!
My fresh chocolates and cakes have won honours at the International Chocolate Awards, Academy of Chocolate and Great Taste Awards. I love the exciting diversity of work and clients - centrepieces and gifts for weddings, celebrations and events (whether the more elaborate or simply understated), teaching all aspects of cake & chocolate making and setting up business, to charity commissions and exciting commissions including a chocolate artpiece for a very famous American Entrepenuer! I also had great fun appearing on the Channel 4's series 'Extreme Chocolate Makers'.
Cakes, chocolate sculptures and gifts delivered within South West England and to London, United Kingdom and further afield!

taste comes first..
..flavourful and soft with delicious fillings.
I’m a little obsessive, constantly working on my recipes, tweaking, refining, it’s a never ending process.
Of course a great recipe also needs great ingredients and there is so much fantastic local produce in Cornwall I will endeavour to use as much as I can such as free-range eggs from local producers like St Ewe, and a little further afield organic flour from Shipton Mill in Tetbury as well as delicious local milk, cream, butter and buttermilk.
I use natural flavours, unrefined sugar and, as I’m a chocolatier, it has to be PROPER chocolate ie really great origin couverture.
